Administrative Changes

The Board of Directors has selected Douglas F. Reynolds as our new Executive Director. Mr. Reynolds has an extensive background with programs for people with disabilities. He has served for over 22 years as Superintendent of Ohio county Boards of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, and has a total of 28 years experience in the MR/DD field. Mr. Reynolds is married and has two daughters and three step-daughters. 
We are excited to have Mr. Reynolds aboard to guide us into a new era of continuing and improving quality services to people with disabilities.

We are in the process of restructuring our organization to streamline the administrative chain of command and improve the efficiency of our service delivery system. This site will be updated as changes are finalized and implemented.

Elaine Hanna has joined us as Associate Director of Support Services. She will be responsible for overseeing Service Coordination, Early Intervention, and the Rehabilitation and Supports program for the agency.

The MDCBDSN Day Programs and Administrative Offices will be closed November 22nd and 23rd for Thanksgiving holidays.

The Board of Directors of the Marion-Dillon County Board of Disabilities and Special needs will hold their regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m., Thursday evening November 29, 2001 at the Dillon Center, 1219 Highway 34 West, Dillon. 

The next Pre-Service Training for new employees is scheduled for November 27-30, 2001 at the Dillon Center. General Orientation for these employees will follow December 11-11, 2001.
